Wetland Walk

Gentle walk circling a restored wetland 
and rich waterfowl habitat. Likely to see Paradise shelduck and Grey Ducks, Dabchicks, a Cape Barren goose and Kingfisher. Dam contains Mullet in freshwater phase and Short- and Long-finned Eel.

Special interest: Rare Australasian Bittern

Estuary Walk

The Estuary Walk takes you through planted areas and wide open spaces to views of both sea and estuary. Rare Pipits are common, you will also see Kingfisher and Tui.

Forest Walk

5km  |  1.5 Hours

A challenging walk, showcasing native forest along a winding bush trail including several hills. Likely to see Tūī, Kukupa, Silvereye, and Fantails.
